Dr. Nauman W. Rashid, MD
Dr. Nauman W. Rashid, MD, is an experienced emergency medicine physician and medical leader with extensive experience in clinical care, telemedicine, medical education, and physician leadership. He currently serves as an Emergency Department Medical Director with ApolloMD at Emory Hospital and as an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician within the WellStar Hospital System.
Dr. Rashid earned his MD from Meharry Medical College and completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, where he served as Chief Academic Resident. He has held leadership roles in medical education and research, including Director of Research for the Wellstar Kennestone Emergency Medicine Residency Program and Director of Clinical Education for ApolloMD.
His clinical experience spans emergency medicine, critical care, hospital medicine, telemedicine, and event medicine. He is also actively involved in medical research and education and holds multiple state medical licenses and certifications including ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS Instructor certification.
